Within the framework of the 86th Izmir International Exhibition held in Izmir, Turkey-Russia Business Forum was organised with the participation of Minister of Economy Nihat Zeybekci, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Faruk Özlü, Russian Minister of Energy Aleksandr Novak and President of Tatarstan. Following the forum, Turkey-Russia Industrial Cooperation, Turkey-Russia Contracting and Interregional Cooperation and Turkey-Russia Special Economic Zones sessions were held simultaneously. Abdullah Ak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akkar Dingil A.Ş., one of the leading industrial enterprises of our city, which signed a 10 million dollar trailer axle and automotive spare parts agreement with Russia by participating in this forum and negotiations from our city, stated that the forum made a very important contribution to Turkey-Russia trade. Within the scope of the programme in Izmir, Turkish industrialists made a total of 30 billion dollars of commercial agreements with Russia. Abdullah Ak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akkar Dingil A.Ş., stated that they signed a 10 million dollar agreement for Automotive Spare Parts and Axle trade.
